In your quasi-offline Location document, on the Mail tab, what is in the "Mail file location" field?

You have configured this Location document so that it expects an always available connection to your Domino Server if you are telling it to route mail to the Domino Server when there is one pending message. So there really shouldn't be an issue about opening the mailfile on the Domino Server, I would think.

How are you opening your local mailfile? Are you clicking on the Mail shortcut? Going through the Application Open dialog box? Clicking on an icon in the Workspace?
